On the first day of the State’s helpline number, 323 complaints were registered within 24 hours of the CM Helpline 1905 debutThe government has added 150 services of 44 government departments in this helpline. Complaints related to these will be disposed off within a week. Chief Minister Trivandrum Rawat inaugurated the Integrated Helpline Service, 1905 on Saturday. People can make a complaint by phone online or directly. The call center was very busy the first day after the formal inauguration. People from all over the country kept registering the failures of the departments on the phone.
Manish Prajapati, the business head of the call center, said that the work of this center is primarily by registering complaints of people against government departments and removing them. However, if a person calls for emergency help, then the person concerned will be asked to link directly to 100 or 108 numbers. For this, a special link was given to 1905. In the CM Helpline, 44 departments have been added. 150 services have come under its scope. Complaints from here will be sent to online departments only. They have to be disposed of in a week. The disposal of these complaints will be monitored at the Tehsil and Block level along with the DM from the Chief Secretary level.
Prajapati said that on Sunday evening 7 pm, 323 complaints were filed and sent to the respective departments. The highest complaint is PWD, Drinking Water and Electricity. People are also asking about the Kisan Pension Scheme. Most complaints have come from Pauri and Almora. So far, total 5992 calls have been received.
