Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has said that the state government will provide internet facility to all the villages of Uttarakhand in 2019. The Internet will be used to improve education and health services. CM, who came to Nainital tour, said this in a press conference.
In the Chail Hall of Nainital, CM Rawat said that in order to provide better internet service in the state, Mukesh Ambani, the Reliance Group chief, has had a personal conversation with Mukesh Ambani. Told that there was a need to take some strategic steps to deal with the company, the government is working in this direction. CM said that better internet service will increase the reach of government schemes to the people living in the remote areas of the state.
This government has promised to work first on the given topics:
- All hospitals in the state will be connected to Wi-Fi
- Free Wi-Fi facility will be provided to all schools of Uttarakhand
- All government hospitals will be connected with the telemedicine facility.
On the question about development work, CM Rawat said, “I am Trivendra Rawat, not Harish Rawat. He said that the then Congress government had only a budget of four hundred crores, but Harish Rawat had announced four thousand hundred crore. CM said that in the absence of such budget announcements, he has lost his face, he is in front of everyone. CM said that the present government does not want to become such a situation.
