Vijay Vardhan Dandriyal, president of the Dehradun Metropolitan City Bus Federation, has questioned the role of officers. It was alleged that on his complaint, four letters were sent by the PMO for investigation, but after years of investigation could not be investigated. He has sent a CM letter demanding action against the officers soon. Talking to reporters at the city bus office on Thursday, Chairman Vijay Vardhan Dandriyal said that the government is making claims of zero tolerance, but the government officials are unmasking these claims.
The Department of Transport had complained to Tata Magic to give a stage carriage permit contrary to the rules. On this complaint, the PMO has sent the letter to the Chief Secretary for investigation twice since 2017, but the investigation could not be done till date. In 2018, the police seized the city bus against the rules. This bus parked in the police line has become a junk. Apart from this, a seat was extended in Vikram vehicle contrary to the rule. In both the cases, the PMO had ordered an inquiry to the Chief Secretary, but today there is no trace of their investigation. When information is taken from the authorities, there is no satisfactory answer, due to which the role of the government is also being questioned. He has also written a letter to the Chief Minister.
