Age Limit
The age limit as set by the department is minimum 18 years but the maximum is 23 years and they can fluctuate according to the post available in the department but you should be minimum 18 years for any post in the department. And it is to be noted that the relaxation is given to the people of the reserved category and the persons of the same authority.
Education Qualification
The education qualification is not the same for all the people it keeps on changing as the post in the department changes.
General Duty
People on General Duty or GD must have the education qualification of school level and it is compulsory for him to have the passing certificate of 10th standard and their forst rank in the department will be of Rifleman
Clerk
For the post of clerk you only need the education of 12th standard and the passing certificate from the recognised board and if they had any higher education it can also work the person will be appointed as “Havildar”.
Electrician
For the post of electrician a candidate mut have a passing certificate of 10th standard from the recognised board but along with the ITI certificate and they will have the post of rifleman
Personal Assistant
Person those who are applying for this post must have the 12th passing certificate with the complete knowledge in computer with good typing speed and he must have diploma in it and the person will be appointed as Warrant Officers
Cook
The person will be designated as Rifle man and he must have the 12 passing certificate.
Physical Criteria
As it is the open bharti so the candidates must need to show some physical work so there are certain regulation which a candidate must attain to clear the exam.
Height
The candidates needs to be the minimum height of 170 cm for the Unreserved category and those who are not from any of the state of north eastern region and for the female candidates te minimum height required is 157 cm.
Weight
The minimum required by the male candidates is 52 kg but the reserved candidates the minimum weight required is 48 kg and for female candidates the weight will be 50 kg
Chest
The chest for the unreserved category is 80 to 85 cm and for reserved category the candidates the chest will be 3 cm.
Physical Tests
The candidates need to perform certain various test like running, swimming, Sprint and other various.
Running
The candidates need to run only 1.6 km and the marks will be given based on the time set by the department.
- 7.15min – 10 marks
- 7.45min – 8 marks
- 8.15min – 6 marks
- 8.30min – 4 marks
- After 8.30min – Disqualified
Sprint – 200m
- 28 Second – 8 marks
- 32 Second- 5 marks
- 36 Second- 3 marks
- Afetr 36 Second- Disqualified
Swimming
The swimming round is 40 m and there is no marking based on this it is a qualifying round if you covered the distance in 10 min you will be disqualified.
Note: There will be other test to but they will be qualifying test and teh candidates need to clear all those test in order to get a job.
