Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of National Centre for Ageing at AIIMS

PM Modi has announced an underground connection of tunnel between the AIIMS and the JNPA Trauma centre and the Power Grid Vishram Sadan at AIIMS alsong with the 500 beds in New Emergency Block and 807 bedded Super Specialty Block at the Safdarjung Hospital to the nation.

He also told about the Ayushman Bharat Programmer. Under this scheme , The National Health Protection Mission will provide 10 crore poor and vulnerable families will be provided a insurance of upto 5 lakh per family and for secondary and tertiary care hospitality. This will provide as the world’s largest government funded health care programme.

Madhya Pradesh will be awarded for reducing Maternal Mortality

MP has announced and the reporst also confirmed that they have reduce the maternity mortality rate as large as 48 digit less than before. This reprt s given from the eyar 2014 to 2016. Under the Scheme called Prime Minister’s Safe Motherhood Campaign, Madhya Pradesh will be awarded for reducing maternal mortality.Under this scheme , it aims was to ensure the quality of mother’s health of more than 3 crore woman before delivery.

Chennai airport could soon lose 4th busiest tag to Hyderabad

Now the Chennai which was the fourth busiest Airport in India. This position is taken by the Hyderabad. The first position has been given by the Delhi Air port which is followed by the Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, and Hyderabad in terms of passenger movement.

The reports has shown the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has shown the Hyderabad has  13.8 lakhs passengers, whereas Chennai recorded 13.5 lakhs users in April 2018.

Hyderabad has recorded 25% increase in the number of passengers in the year April 2017 and April 2018. Chennai has 13.7% growth , during the course , Hyderabad will soon take the position from Chennai and Kolkatta and will become the first busiest passenger in India.

TN Govt introduces Bills to repeal archaic law and to amend the Tamil Nadu Revenue Recovery Act, 1864

The government of Tamil Nadu has introduced two bills in the State Assembly to amend some acts. These bills were presented by C.Ve. Shanmugam, Law Minister. The first bill rlated to the repeal of certain obsolete laws as mandated by the Law Commission.

The bill states the ‘The State Law Commission has recommended in its first report on unrepealed Tamil Nadu regulations to repeal certain regulations as the said regulations are not suitable to the present day situation’. The government has decided to rpeal the following central acts of local application in Tamil Nadu under The Tamil Nadu Public Property Malversation Act, 1837 (Central Act XXXVI of 1837) and The Tamil Nadu, Bengal and Bombay Children (Supplementary) Act, 1925 (Central Act XXXVI of 1925). The state decides to repeal other archaic regulations and amend the Tamil Nadu Revenue Recovery Act, 1864.

TNPCB issued closure notice to Sterling Biotech Limited

TNPCB has found a pharmaceutical campany named Sterling Biotech Limited to defy the environment norms and discharge the untreated effluent into the Pykara Dam and the nearby reservoirs. The Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) has issued a notice to set up a treatment facility soon. They has not yet responded for the ultimatum issued by the board.

He also said that there was a far reaching impact on the Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve as the water from the Pykara is used by the people and animals living in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. TNPCB has now issued a closure notice to the Sterling Biotech Limited.

Nissan signs MoU with Kerala government for digital hub

A Mou has been signed between Nissan Motor and the Government of Kerala to set up a new global center for the digital work in India. The Nissan Digital Hub will set up a global digital tranformation. The hub also seeks in tranforming Nissan global business by placing the digital technology at it operation service. In this project , the government of Kerala has provide the acre of land to Nissan to set up the digital hub at the Technocity campus, Pallipuram.

Monti Rajkhowa, the First Assamese Woman To Scale Mount Kanchenjunga

The executive engineer of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) , Monti has become the first lady ONGC officer among her male counterparts to have managed to scale the world’s toughest peak.

She was born in Maghalaya. The kanchanjunga expedition was flagged by the Union Minister  Dharmendra Pradhan in April 2018. Mount Kanchenjunga is the third highest mountain in the world.

DISHA Week is being celebrated from 25th to 29th June

The official name of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DDCMC) is named as “DISHA” by the Ministry of Rural Development.

After the sucessful completion of 2 years of DISHA , the union mister of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Mines, Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, held wide ranging discussions on the DISHA initiative with Special Secretaries of the states/ UTs at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.

Among the five states , Chattisgarh has received the awrd of appreciation for the exemplary work for the regular of DISHA meetings. The other states in the race were Jharkhand, Kerala, Mizoram and Uttarakhand.

India increases GEF grants to 15 million dollar from 12 million dollar

India will increaase the spends on the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for the next four years from 12 million to 15 millions. The commitments towards GEF has been increased for the GEF’s new four-year investment cycle, known as GEF-7. India is the most vulnerable countries in the climate changes. India is first country to be donor and recipient from GEFamong the 183 countries.

China conducts drill in Tibet 1st time since Doklam standoff

PLA has conducted a drill to test their logistics and armament support capabilities. This was givenn in a report that this is the first drill carried by the China in Tibet since the Doklam standoff with India last year. The drill was a move towards enhancing military-civilian integration in the region.

Asian Games gold medalist Mary Kom to skip 2018 Asian Games

Mary kom who is a well known Boxing champion in the 51 kg category at the Asian Games in 2014 has decided to skip the 2018 edition championship. She has told that she will focus on scuring the gold in the next World Championships in the 48 kg category, a category that won’t feature in 2018 edition of the Asian Games.

Antonio Vitorino from Portugal elected as new Director General of UN migration agency

The Director General of the UN migration agency is now elected by the member states of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). He is Mr. Antonio Manuel de Carvalho Ferreira Vitorino of Portugal. He succeeds William Lacy Swing of the United States, who will have served two five-year terms as IOM chief. Established in 1951, IOM had been an observer to the UN since 1992.
