Himalayan Institute of Pharmacy and Research was built in the year 2006 under the order of Azad Educational Society in the Selaqui region of Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The HIPR is a college which is approves from the AICTE and PCI, and is affiliated from the HNB Central University and Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU). Their are various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses which are provided by the college in the field of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Management and Pharmacy.

The college provides a transportation facilities to the student and is also well connected with other means of transportation. and a well furnished hostel facilities for the student those who are living away from their homes. The college also has 24 hrs WiFi service for the students so that they can study better and teh WiFi is available in the library also and a facility of reading room too. The college conducts industrial visit for the student to provide them better knowledge about their work. Admission Process

The college provides various courses to the student in every field like science, management and Pharamcy, LAW. But the college is known best for providing the pharmacy courses and getting admission in this college is really easy like for the bachelor course which is B.Pharma if you want to take the admission in this course you just need to clear the UKSEE exam and performances in this exam will confirm your seat in this course and this will be the 4 year course and for each year the fees will range from 70 to 80K and if you already a graduate in B.Pharma and want to pursue the M.Pharma then you need to clear the GPAT Exam and the fees will be nearly around 90K. For the other courses like B.B.A. and B.Com teh admission will be given on the performance in your 12th exam and you need to hav atleast 50% marks in your final exams.
