Now IBPS PO Mains Quantitative Aptitude will be known as Data Interpretation & Analysis. The questions will check the problem solving & data analysis of the candidate.

The section of Quantitative Aptitude is present in both the exams i.e. Prelims and Mains. In the mains, the questions are based on the Data Interpretation and Analysis.

IBPS PO Reasoning Syllabus
IBPS PO Syllabus 2018 is divided into two parts i.e. Verbal and Non Verbal sections. The eight percent question belongs to the alphabet test, blood relations, number ranking and sequence and seating arrangement, syllogism, series.

English is the popular subject in the exam. The question asked in the exam are Grammer and Error Detection.

IBPS PO Syllabus for General Awareness
General Awareness is based on the various topics and is very varied out of this. The questions are based on the Economics and Banking Sector.
Current affairs related to national and international issues of last 6 months , Overview of Indian Financial System , History of Indian banking system , Recent credit and monetary policies , Introduction to National financial institutions like RBI, SEBI, IRDA, FSDC etc and of International organizations like IMF, World Bank, ADB, UN etc. , Abbreviations and Economic terminologies , Banking Terms , Important Government Schemes on capital & money market.
IBPS PO Syllabus for Computer Knowledge
Basics of Hardware and software , Windows operating system basics , Internet terms and services , Basic Functionalities of MS-Office (MS-word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint) , History of computers , Networking and communication , Database basics , Basics of Hacking, Security Tools and Viruses.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2018
The exam pattern of IBPS PO is simple . Let’s see how it goes. The question paper is based on the various subjects i.e. Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English and Computers. Along with the Excellency in these subjects, aspirants must also be well updated with General Knowledge and Current Affairs.
The exam is divided into two parts i.e. Preliminary and Main.
The candidates who want to qualify for the exam will be shortlisted for the Mains Exam will be send for the Personal Interview. The final score for the candidate is total of Mains and Interview.

- The exam is conducted in two parts i.e. English and Hindi.
- The negative marking is applied on each wrong attempt for 0.25 marks.
- The exam is cndcuted online, so you can scroll through the questions easily.
- The exam will be of objective type questions.
Cut-Off Score
- Mean – 3/4th of Standard Deviation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD categories
- Mean – 1/4th of Standard Deviation for General Category.
The second cut off for the total exam is based on the requirement given. The candidate must obtain the minimum score in each test and is shortlisted for the Interview. The number of vacancies and cut off is also depending on the candidates who are shortlisted for the interview.
