Exam Pattern

The AFCAT exam is separated into two sections one is AFCAT (Air Force Common Admission Test) which is essential to know the general knowledge and the awareness of the candidates and the other part is the EKT (Engineering Knowledge Test) this test is led for the candidates to know their technical knowledge in the certain field like Flying and Technical branch information. The exam has 4 section of G.K. English, Maths and Reasoning and all of them has certain question relating to the field. Each question carries 3 marks and also there will be negative marking in the exam, so for each wrong 0.25 marks will be deducted from each questions.

Note: As the negative marking is applicable so the candidate must answer each question if they are very sure about it.

Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT)

After the AFCAT the candidates those who are appearing for the post which needs post related to the technical fields in Flying and Technical branch they need to give one more exam of EKT.
