Indian Army Recruitment Exams

To join this sector each year the department conducts various exam but the most recognized exams are NDA (National Defense Academy) and the CDS (Combined Defense Service) each of these exam are conducted twice a year and are easiest way to enter in army and fulfill their dreams but the criteria for this job is very different. While in NDA the exam is for the lower level which means that you can apply for the NDA just after your schooling so in order to get a job you need to pass the exam have to meet all the eligibility criteria and you will be selected where in CDS the thing is slightly different here the applied candidates must have a graduation degree to get a job although they can apply for the exam while appearing graduation but after that they must have the degree soon. While the post in NDA is for the small post whereas in the CDS the exam is for officers posts.

Exam Pattern

The exam is of total 100 marks divided in three section General Knowledge, General Science and Maths and each section is divided as 30%, 40% and 30% respectively.

General Science

This section of exam holds the larger part of the exam and covers 40% of the exam and the question are mainly related to the scientific terms and the question basically related to the science dealing with basic terms that is of 10th standards science

Mathematics

Math is the 3rd and last part of the exam it covers the remaining section of the exam it also covers the basic related math which comes in the 10th section. The math is divided in Algebra, Arithmetic and geometry which is accompanied by mensuration.
