Lawsuit of Uttrakhand Scholarship scam is filed in 100 crore


In the scholarship scam of Rs 100 crore, SIT has registered a case in the Siddul police station after the initial investigation. It is alleged that many colleges of Haridwar, Saharanpur, and Dehradun had taken a scholarship in this scam by fraudulently. Between academic session 2012-13 and 2014-15, many private colleges of Haridwar, Dehradun, and Saharanpur grabbed students scholarships showing the admission in ITI, Polytechnic and BTech.

In the year 2017, the complaint was received, and after that, the examination of the then Additional Secretary V. Shanmugam confirmed all the fake admission. After investigating the scam in the investigation, the department had written the SIT probe to the government after the scam was expected to reach 100 crores. This year, Trivendra Rawat named SP Crime Manjunath of Haridwar in the SIT on 13th April and named the inquiry committee.

In the preliminary investigation, SIT member and Chamba police inspector Jawaharlal examined that in a fraudulent manner, the scholarship of millions of rupees has been grabbed by students. The SIT has also sent a report to the regime. Jawaharlal has filed a lawsuit against several private institutes and several ITI managers in the Siddul police station. Although the name of any college has not been made public yet, the names of everyone in the investigation will be revealed. SSP Riddim Agarwal said that the case has been filed.
