CM Trivendra Rawat said that the government is continuously working for the welfare of women and children. A campaign is being launched to make the state malnutrition free. Ministers, MLAs and officers are caring for the most malnourished children by adopting them. On Thursday, CM Trivendra Rawat inaugurated the new building of Sakhi One Stop Center on EC Road. These centers are for women who are suffering from any violence and cannot find shelter to live. CM said that the government is running many schemes for women and children.
Told that there are 27 thousand malnourished children in the state. In this, very malnourished children are being adopted and taken care of. Plans are being run to provide nutritious food to children. Milk is given to children at Anganwadi centers two days a week. He said that public awareness is necessary for the prevention of problems like malnutrition. Women empowerment and child development minister Rekha Arya said that women suffering from any kind of violence at a one stop center will get all facilities under one roof. Along with stay, food, legal, health and police protection will also be available here. Soon such centers will be opened in all districts. MLA Rajpur Road Khajan Das, Secretary, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department, Saujanya, Director Jharana Kamathan etc. were present on the occasion.
