India signed JDI with Germany in Aviation

The cabinet has signed a Joint declaration of Intent (JDI) from India and Germany on the co-operation in the feidl of Aviation.

The declaration will provide the promotion for the effective and efficient development of air transport between India and Germany. This includes the various applcation of the aviation like Helicopter Emergency Medical Services and Aviation Safety and Air Traffic Management,  and Training and Skills Development.

Cabinet approves MoU with Denmark

The cabinet has given approval for the MoU between the India and Denmark in the field of animal husbandry and dairy. This is a joint effort where the representatives of both countries create policize the various programs. This will help to exchange the various knowledge and skills in the areas of animal breeding, animal health.

Fourth National Consultation of Ministers

The fourth National Consultation meeting of Ministers of States and Union Territory in food charge Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs is being held on 29th June 2018 in New Delhi. The meeting is headed by Mr. Ram Vilas Paswan, Union Minister of Consumer Affairs. This meeting aims to improve the consumer protection and welfare including the Public Distribution System etc.

India votes against the draft at OPCW meet

During the conference of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), India has voted against the use of chemical weapon. The conference has been called by many countries UK, the US & the West. This will help in banning the use of chemical weapons around the world. India’s Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the OPCW is Venu Rajamony.

Research institute to come up at Maghar

PM Modi addressed a public rally where he laid the foundation for the research institute at maghar in Uttar Pradesh. This was done on the 500th death anniversary of Kabir Das , the mystic poet and saint. The Prime Minister also went to the Sant Kabir cave and announced the foundation stone of the Kabir Academy.

RBL Bank raise stakes in SFPL to 100%

RBL bank has acquired the Mumbai based micro lender firm Swadhar Finserve Pvt Ltd where they were holding the 60.49% shares earlier. SFPL operates 331 branches across the 16 states and two union teritories and has an AUM of about 2,000 crores and reach 7.5 lakh customers.It distributes loans and save products to low income households and micro enterprise.

National Statistics Day on 29th June

The Vice president Venkaiah Naidu has attended the closing ceremony of 125th birth aniversary of Prof. P. C. Mahalanobis on Statistics Day on 29th June. The theme for this year is Quality Assurance in Official Statistics. The objective of celebration is to create public awareness about the statistics in socio-economic planning, to acknowledge the contribution of Prof. Mahalanobis.

Govt hikes ethanol price by Rs 3 per litre

The price of ethanol is increased by 3 rs per litre which results in the rise of petrol price to 43.40. This will help the country to cut the defence imports as well as the high price for the sugarcane to farmers. The govt has approved the mechanism for the ethanol procurement for the public sectors to carry the Ethanol Blended Petrol Programme.

1st Inter-state translocation proj. of tigers

The country first inter state trans location tiger project is now shifted to the  Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, MP to Satkosia Tiger Reserve, Odisha. According to 2016 census, there are total 3891 tigers. This project is made by the Ministry of Environment, National Tiger Conservation Authority and Wildlife Institute of India to boost tiger population.

J P Nadda inaugurates the NIMHANS Academy

JP Nadda , the Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare inaugurated the NIMHANS Digital Academy. In this new academy , 50 people will be trained with a mobile phone with 3G connection which is given to the receiver end.  It will also help to heal the mental health of people and increase the capacity of human resources for mental health by training doctors, nurses.

WCD Ministry to organise TECH-THON 2018

A semimar has been organised by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India will organize a seminar for the technology partnerships for steering POSHAN Abhiyaan called ‘TECH-THON’ in Delhi. The seminar was made to discuss for the technology for the POSHAN Abhiyaan and combat malnutrition. On 8th March 2018 , PM has launched the POSHAN Abhiyaan (National Nutrition Mission).

WEP signs SoI with various organisations

NITI Aayog WEP (Women Entrepreneurs Platform) signed  five statement of Intent for financial institutions. These five statements are Shri Mahila Sewa Sahakari Bank Limited, Indiabulls Housing Finance Limited, SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited, Sreemanta Sankar Mission and the SEWA. It was started in International Women Day in march 2018 to increase the number of women enterpreneurs.

Chaudhary sets would record at ISSF 2018

Indian Shooter Saurabh Chaudhary made a new world record to win a gold medal in the ISSF Junior World Cup 2018 in Suhl, Germany. The shooter has shot a total 243.7 in 10 m air pistol event at International Shooting Sports Federation tournament. The junior world record was 242.5 by Chinese shooter Wang Zhehao at the first ISSF Junior World Cup in Sydney.

Govt funds ECGC, NEIA to boost exports

The CCEA (Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs) is the capital infusion for Rs. 2000 crore in Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) and Rs 1040 cr to National Export Insurance Account Trust (NEIA). The capital infusion of Rs. 2000 crore will boost the exports and benefits MSMEs in the country. The grant NEIA would promote infrastructure for export projects.

Sagarmala receives Gold Award at Skoch Summit

The Ministry of Shipping flagship programme for port led prosperity Sagarmala has recieved the Gold Award at 52nd Skoch Summit 2018 in New Delhi. The Skoch awards recognize leadership and excellence in improving the socio-economic structure. Sagramala aims for the port led development through harnessing 7,500 km long coastline of 14,500 km of navigable water ways.

Govt proposes to replace UGC

Government has passed a bill to replace the education regulatory UGC (University Grants Commission) with a higher education commission. The new commission will aims for the less inspection and create better outcomes for the students in the university & colleges.  This will be applicable for the higher education systems under any act of Parliament.

FATF puts Pak on ‘grey list’

Pakistan has been kept on the grey list by the watchdog organisation for Global anti terror i.e. Financial Action Task Force. The Pakistan is added on the list by the joint votes of US,Britain, France & Germany.  Pakistan was added before in 2012 to 2015. FATF is an inter government body established in 1989 to fight for the money laundering & terrorist financing.

U.S. postpones 2+2 dialogue with India

The 2+2 dialogue has been postponed by US which was to organise with India quoted as  “unavoidable reasons”. It was to held on July 6. The meeting participants were Sushma Swaraj and Nirmala Sitharaman with US secretary of state Michael Pompeo and secretary of defence James Mattis. The meeting was aimed for the strengthening strategic, security, and defence cooperation.

Cabinet approves MoU between India & Singapore

The Union cabinet has approved the Mou between the India & Singapore for the co-operation in urban planning and development. This will help the government agencies to work with the Singaporean agencies in urban development and management. This MoU is made to facilitate government bodies the Municipal corporation for the rejuvenation of urban areas.

Hayabusa2 probe: Ryugu asteroid

Hayabusa 2 is a japanese probe which is successfully settled  above the Ryugu Asteroid. This satelite aims to collect information about the initial states of space missions and the origin of life after a more than three-year voyage through deep space.

Ujjwala Revolution

A scheme of Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas started a PMUJY (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) to provide the LPG domestic connections for the women from BPL people. And the other thing to note is Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) completed two years of operation.
