A new circle rate format of agriculture, agricultural and commercial land has been prepared in the state. Circle rates have been increased by three times the proposed rates of commercial property in Tehri, Uttarkashi and Almora districts. The government has constituted a Central Appraisal Committee under the chairmanship of the Additional Chief Secretary to determine the new circle rates. The central committee has decided to draft the new rates based on the proposals received from the district evaluation committees.
