After the release of Basic Education Manual, the Education Department has started preparing for the new recruitment. As the posts of ineligible education friends are vacant. Nearly two thousand Shiksha Mitras are in the category of ineligible due to lack of DLED and TET. Additional Director-Basic VS Rawat said that the government duly issued the revised service rules for elementary education (teachers) on Tuesday. The manual is sent to all DEOs. According to this, teachers who have not been able to have DLED or TET till March 31, 2019 are considered ineligible.
Therefore, further recruitment proceedings should be taken considering the vacant posts of all such education friends. These posts will also be included in the current recruitment process. Oops on them: On the orders of the High Court, in the year 2015, around 2800 Shiksha Mitras made assistant teachers are getting a salary of 4200 rupees as a permanent teacher. According to the rules, these posts have also become ineligible. Director of Education RK Kunwar told that instructions are being taken from the government regarding these.
Education friends without DLED-TET have sought some time from the government for TET. State president of adjusted primary teacher Lalit Dwivedi said that about 2800 Shiksha Mitras were appointed before the Right to Education Act came into force in the state. He was formally appointed to the post of Assistant Teacher in 2015 on the orders of the High Court. Of these, around 1500 are yet to do TET. While NCTE has already clarified that TET is not mandatory for these education friends. However, this issue occurred due to non-notification of that order. It is unfair to recruit such education friends disqualified.
