Age Limit
The candidates applying for the post mainly the post are Soldiers GD and the Soldiers Clerk and Tadesman. For each one of the the age will be
- Soldier GD: The Minimum age will be 17.5 years to maximum 21 years (and the candidates must be born between 08 May 1997 to 08 Nov 2000)
- Soldier Clerk and Tradesman: Minimum age 17.5 yearsto 23 years (Born between 08 May 1997 and 08 Nov 2000)
Education Qualification
The education qualification which is needed is specified underneath as the post are diverse as indicated by the branches of the department. There are numerous ways you can join this office. Physical Criteria

Height
The candidates needs to be the minimum height of 166 cm for the Unreserved category and those who are not from any of the state of north eastern region and for the female candidates the minimum height required is 157 cm and for the reserved category Male is 165 cm and for the technical post the height is 163 cm
Weight
The minimum required by the male candidates is 52 kg but the reserved candidates the minimum weight required is 48 kg and for female candidates the weight will be 50 kg
Chest
The chest for the unreserved category is 77 to 82 cm and for reserved category and te expanded chest would have expansion of 5 cm.
Physical Test Lansdowne Open Recruitment 2018
The test is of 100 marks and it is divided in many various parts like running and swimming.
Running
Candidates need to run 1.6 km in this test and the marks will be given in two categories.
- Group 1:- 5 min 30sec (60 marks)
- Group 2:- above 5min 31 to 5 min 45 Sec (48 Marks)
Pull UPs
- 10:- 40 marks
- 09:-33 marks
- 08:-27 marks
- 07:-21 marks
- 06:-16 marks
Balancing
Many candidates doesn’t know about this test although this exam doesn’t have any marks but they are allowed to gave test and this test is compulsory to qualify because it shows the balancing of the candidates.
